When I go furniture shopping, I head right for the furniture on sale, whether it’s in the store or online. That’s where the best prices are for the same items that just came off the showroom floor. One great advantage of online shopping is that you can see what the favorite trends, shapes and styles are without being overwhelmed. Another fun thing is to mix and match clearance furniture for a really creative look.

My favorite accessory items are rugs. We have wood floors and tile floors. The tile floors hold the cold in the winter and are very hard on your feet and legs to walk or stand on regularly. The absolute solution are rugs. Discount rugs. Large rugs for the entry hall, living room, and dining room can be outrageously expensive. Discount furniture stores always have a clearance rug section where I head first. They’re beautiful, all shapes, all sizes, all colors. They really make your home cozy too in addition to adding unusual points of interest. I haven’t been disappointed yet.
